Location: Wood Dale, IL

Responsibilities

• Operate hand welding equipment to product products / parts
• Use of crane and supports to safely position product / parts in work center
• Operate grinder to remove excess burrs, welding material, etc.
• Set up welder, make adjustments and replace welding wire
• Print reading, perform periodic measurements and inspections
• Advance completed parts to next work center
• Follow all safety rules and keep work area orderly
• Coordinate with Supermarket parts supplier and notify supervisor of parts shortages
• Fit up welding (steel): Fit up of domes, fittings to pipe and tack weld into place
• Pipe welding (steel): Adding accessories such as brackets to pipe shell prior to assembly
• Resolve customer inquiries
• Assist with refrigeration application questions
• Create sales materials for sales representative and customer use
• Customer interface at trade shows or customer visits. Some travel required.

​Qualifications

• MIG welding experience, TIG experience a plus
• Grinder experience
• Machine welding experience
• Other manufacturing support equipment familiarity a plus (saws, rod threading equipment)
